Fast shipping and excellent product. Camera is very clear and install was easy. Hardest part was routing wire from camera to console. Instructions were clear and I was skeptical about ODB II programmer but worked perfectly to use my 8.4 uconnect screen. About a 1 hour install for someone with mechanical knowledge.
Works great.I am very happy with it .Excellent picture at night as well. The install went smoothly and was super easy it took me about an hour.
I screwed a couple things up and they helped me real time on the phone to troubleshoot. Thanks guys.
Super easy to install and did it in less than an hour. Works great
17 ram 3500 crew long box.
As stated in other reviews…. Take your time to unpin the two wires on the 50 way connector. Also realize that the red locking tab insert needs to be carefully removed prior to lifting the lock tab to remove the terminals.
On the long bed crew the cable provided is not long enough to take the traditional route of going through the firewall. In my case I removed the drivers door sill trim and routed the wire through the e brake cable grommet. This afforded enough room to make it to the rear harness provided. Being I work at a dealer I added the vehicle option code before installing the camera. I would have ordered a Mopar camera kit but they’ve already been discontinued. My new to me 17 has the small screen and let’s face it. Even the OE camera on these are subpar compared to the larger 8” view. For the cost of this camera I feel it’s right up there in visual quality compared to some I’ve compared to. Hope it works for the long term.
