TAILGATE BACKUP CAMERA AND 4.3 MIRROR MONITOR FOR 2007-2013

I ordered a backup camera and rear view mirror combo for a 2010 Toyota Tundra. The truck was pre wired already but after a plug and play it didn’t work. I called the support number and got a quick response. He had me troubleshooting but no luck. So he sent some new connections that arrived within a couple of days. He sent 2 options in case the wires on the original truck were no good. Turned out that one of the harnesses sent with the mirror was bad. So once I got it connected, it worked!! He sent me a label and I returned all the extra wiring that was sent to me. Even though it didn’t work on the initial install the company made sure the customer was satisfied.

Easy set up using existing prewiring on my 2008 Tundra

I found the units fairly easy to install. The 2012 Tundra is pre-wired for the back up camera. I plugged the new tailgate latch with the camera into the outlet behind the bumper and plugged the mirror monitor into a the outlet under the overhead console. you Tube has a couple of very helpful videoes on doing this. The rear camera monitor shows on the left half of the mirror unit when in reverse. It is sometimes hard to see if the the sun is bright or backing into a lighted area. The unit is exactly what I wanted .

The customer service was absolutely amazing! I had a phantom Tundra farm truck that didn’t have the appearance of a work truck. Brian went above beyond to help diagnose the problem. Helped us with a cable and works perfect!! Fantastic product and amazing customer service!
