I bought this tailgate handle camera for my 2004 Dodge Cummins Truck. I had just bought a new double din stereo receiver and wanted the reverse camera option, especially for backing and hooking up to trailer tongues solo. I searched the internet and read reviews researching options and came across this unit. After install, I can say I’m impressed. The handle/camera unit looks OEM and installs with no trouble. The picture quality of the camera is high, perfect for guiding trailers to my ball hitch. We will see on longevity quality for the handle and the camera but for now I recommend.

I installed this on my 2005 Dodge Ram 2500. Only took about 30 minutes from start to finish. I hooked up to my Edge CTS Evolution tuner. If you are hooking it up to a tuner I suggest hooking the power wire to the battery or another hot wire rather than the back up light wire. It will get the signal from the computer to let it know when it’s in reverse and will switch from the gauges to the camera view much quicker. If you have a long bed 4 foot you will need to add some length to the wire as I came up about a foot or so short.

This camera was very easy to install and works great. I connected it up to a Kenwood 8906s car stereo unit with no problems. I recommend this product.
